One-of-a-kind find
Embossed Jack-O'-Lantern Die-Cut
$30.00
The face that hung on a hundred classroom walls. Crescent-moon eyes, a sharp triangle nose, and a grin with a few teeth missing. The kind of simple design that only came out of American paper shops in the middle of the last century. Possibly H.E. Luhrs or Beistle. Deep orange, still bright, with the original hanging hole punched right through the stem.
Condition: Front is excellent: deep unfaded orange, crisp black printing, no creases or tears. Reverse shows significant paper loss in several patches where the piece was previously adhered to a surface, plus staining at the stem and loss along the lower edge (see photos). Displays beautifully face-out. Marked "Made in U.S.A."; no maker's mark present. Measures 6" × 6"..
One of one. When it's gone, it's gone — this isn't a reprint.
